What role do you play in eLearning at BTC?

I teach a hybrid fisheries class and online classes.

What would you like to gain from participating in this network?

I would like to see what other instructors are doing and be able to share ideas and tools that are available.

What would you like to contribute to this network?

I am willing to help anyone who have problems with software or tools that I use and will continue to learn new technology.

Fall Quarter of 2008 has been a very busy one. I had 33 students and this is more than I have had in the past. I kept everyone busy and learning as well as helping Washington Dept of Fish & Wildlife with their salmon returns. Our return was not as big as we had forcasted, and between the Sport Fishers and seals, we had a very small return to the hatchery. We had less than 1,000 Chum return to the hatchery pond. I had it timed at 10 min which was what they said was the limit for 1 to 3 projects. I felt that it went ok. Now I just have to wait for the answer to my request.
