Took the second in the three part series today. It was faster paced than the first and covered using the virtual whiteboard, white board annotation features, saving whiteboards, and moved to application and desktop sharing. There's a bunch of ways you could utilize the whiteboard features in class sessions.
I was especially interested in the application sharing. This feature allows you to show your whole desktop, or just a single application window to your class. You can also allow one or more class members the ability to interact with your application. When teaching technology (specifically computer and network topics) this is a huge part of what we do. I'm pretty excited about this. There are some aspects of this that will give me capabilities I don't have face to face.
There are some good
quick start guides available on the Elluminate website.
