Elluminate Live! Moderator Training Part 3

Slower pace with more focus on a limited number of topics.

Spent time practicing group breakout sessions, loading content to Multimedia Libraries, and using the notes tool. I'm ready to start loading content and teaching with the tool. Did I mention that the online and phone support includes help with pedagogy for teaching with the tool? Cool.

Also found some training sessions for participants. I'll have my students watch recorded and interactive presentations on this. Plus there are slides to be used in orientations. My first session will be an orientation session for my students. Should be wild and woolly.

For those interested, Elluminate has a freely available version of their system called a vRoom. It costs nothing and only has two limitations: 3 total participants in the room and no recording of sessions. You could use it for virtual office hours, or just testing out the system.

Yup. From my experiences with Wimba, I'm really excited to be learning about Elluminate! Wimba is also supposedly "seemlessly integrated" with Bb too.......

Except from some hitches and the lack of app sharing, Wiziq was pretty good.

Hmmm...did you see that Angel and Wimba are supposedly seamlessly integrated?
