I've been here as a clerical temp. in admissions and the career center since early October, and full-time in Student Financial Resources working with FSET, Worker Retraining and agency funding for students since November. I try to get out of my cloister now and then to find out what's going on in other parts of the campus (which takes the primary form of lunch at the staff table when possible), but my work ties my down to my desk most days.
I taught English at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where I was working on my PHD in English Language and Literature before relocating to Bellingham about a year and a half ago. I am passionate about people and higher education, and would love to make a foray out to your department sometime. Just send the invite :P
